Quality control

At Kepenos Mills, we are very well aware of the importance of stability in quality and consistency in specifications, and therefore our primary concern is the provision of high quality products to our customers. For this reason, at Kepenos Mills, quality and product development are thoroughly controlled during all stages of the production process.

Our specialists collect samples of grain varieties directly from the area of cultivation or storage site so as to ensure the purchasing of the finest raw material.

Subsequently, the wheat arrives at our privately-owned facilities and is stored in accordance with the strictest hygiene standards. In the first stage of production, control of the milling process is undertaken by the most qualified and suitable person: the Miller. Then, every batch of flour produced undergoes quality control by the quality control department. There, in a modern laboratory staffed with experienced scientific personnel, the high and stable quality of products is ensured. At the final control stage, all flours undergo practical testing under real conditions at our company experimental bakery.

The hallmark of our efforts to provide high quality products in accordance with the most up-to-date specifications is the awarding of the ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Assurance Certificates that attest to the high and stable quality of our products, giving our customers an additional guarantee: that we shall continue to supply them with high standard products and services that meet the strictest professional requirements.
